A brief chat with former President Bill Clinton was the inspiration for Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Dr. Abdul El-Sayed to enter public service early in his career, and his tenure as an Assistant Professor of Public Health at Columbia University determined his primary goal of improving healthcare for all Americans ever since. Dr. El Sayed […]

As efforts by the Trump administration to disrupt the upcoming Midterm elections become more apparent, concerned Americans are beginning to identify and prepare for some of the threatened measures. The array of threats fall into several categories, including voter intimidation and suppression, interference with electoral processes, and measures to call results into question. Peggy Flanagan begins her campaign stump speeches by stating that she wants to introduce herself in the traditional way, in the Ojibwe language. She follows this by saying, “My name is Peggy Flanagan. My Ojibwe name [Gizhiiwewidamookwe] is Speaks in a Loud and Clear Voice Woman.” Flanagan, the Minnesota lieutenant governor, is the daughter of […]

As the threat of interference by the Trump administration in the upcoming midterm elections continues to grow, political analysts are identifying some of the races most likely to draw such interference. Could Texas Might Be Headed Towards Change With James Talarico? Texas state representative James Talarico has taken a risky approach in his campaign for the U.S. Senate. That approach is to openly discuss, and to campaign, based on his religious beliefs. This year, a progressive campaign openly based on religious values may succeed, and it […]

Senior U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff of Georgia is one of the first senate candidates  the SU4W PAC supported and is currently being considered for support again as he runs for re-election.  In his last election in 2020, Ossoff, along with junior Sen. Raphael Warnock, set new “firsts” for Georgia, as Ossoff was the first Jewish […]
