Stand Up For Workers PAC Endorses Former NC Governor Roy Cooper for Senate

Denver, CO – April 9, 2026 – The Stand Up For Workers PAC is proud to announce its endorsement of Former Governor Roy Cooper for North Carolina Senate. 

The PAC is dedicated to fighting for the rights of all American workers by uniting advocacy, education, and grassroots organizing on a national scale. The organization is committed to ensuring every worker can earn a fair, livable wage, be treated with dignity and respect, and have full access to justice. Since 2020, Stand Up For Workers endorsements have represented the interests of working-class Americans, from the passage of pro-workforce policies to the confirmation of over 200 judges. 

Each year the PAC hand-selects candidates who champion labor rights, promote equitable workplace legislation, and work to uphold these fundamental protections at every level of governance. This year, Stand Up for Workers is proud to list Roy Cooper among its endorsements. 

Former Governor Cooper, currently running for North Carolina’s Democratic Senate seat, spoke to Stand Up For Workers PAC leadership last week about his commitment to combatting inequality in the US, supporting working-class families, and protecting employees’ rights. 

“People have been left behind right now by an administration who continues to choose the wealthy over the worker.” Cooper said in the interview. “Many people in the middle class are barely hanging on. For so many families, there is ‘too much month left at the end of the money,’ and the American dream seems dead. I am going to Washington to change this by lowering the cost of living, making healthcare and education affordable, and continuing to fight for the American working class.”
